True and False Religion

This day is marked by ecumenical confusion. Should we not take a hard line on scripture in the effort to avoid offending our diverse neighbors, or do we teach hell and damnation and one way to heaven, as the Bible does? You can answer this question for yourself. Atheists, Christians, and Secularists, hold one thing in common, they all have to believe in something. Nihilism, the belief in nothing, and nothingness, is impossible to maintain in life, notwithstanding an essay. Everyone seeks and desires to believe something, it is the fabric that maintains the life and ego of a person, and everyone seeks an ego, everyone. It is the ability to believe something about one’s self that is ego.

Ego is what keeps people going from one accomplishment to another, one victory to another. Defeat is the failure of ego, and ego cannot handle failure, so one either loses it and thus losses their belief system, or keeps their belief system and wins again. If one loses, they cannot maintain their ego, which is why only one Person can maintain their ego, since there can only be one winner ever, and everyone else is a loser, or second, third place and so on. Which means that Jesus is the only winner, every one is in regard to him is a loser, he is the only one who has the right to have an ego, everyone else in light of him must lose their ego, it is required.

Christians believe in God, Jews who are Christians believe in God, Atheists of all stripes deny the existence of God, interesting since they have to admit that some believe in it and they aren’t taking a belief in a pagan god, a new theory of god, only a new theory of the origins of humanity, Human Species Change-Survival of the Fittest, or properly Macro-Evolution. Being an Atheist, is like being someone who explains darkness to one who explains light, neither can be explained. However, light is always better than darkness, knowledge than ignorance, truth than error, belief than disbelief.

Can someone describe Allah to me; can someone tell me what he is like, or what he has done for humanity? Jehovah is long-suffering to His people, kind to His enemies, and loving towards sinners, and gracious towards the rebellious, and accepting of the truly righteous, throughout Holy Scripture. Can anything at all be said about Allah, not only something similar or marvelous, as Jehovah, but anything at all?

I mean, who is he? I don’t know if he is kind or harsh, to his servants for doing his Will, is he capricious, or thoughtful? What does he do with his days, is he tolerant and kind or belligerent and rude? What kind of god could he be? God is the highest there is, and the only one who can prove Himself in the earth is God. Leviticus is not like the Koran. The law is merciful, not cruel to people. If it was cruel He would not have made man for the earth.

He would have left the earth desolate, if their was nothing good in life; and only law maintains and protects the good, with love. The only thing people ever seek after, is not money, or power, or love, or justice, or fairness, or kindness, or comforts, or food even, what people seek after most desperately is mercy. Grace makes mercy possible, mercy supplies all the rest. Mercy is the best feeling and decision one can have and make in this life, because it restores the life of the one showing mercy and it restores the life of the one having mercy shown to them. It restores trust, and the loss of it, breaks trust, upon mercy lies every fabric of human trust and cohesiveness.

Christianity espouses the belief in one God, in three persons, Judaism believes in one God, Islam believes that Allah is God, and Mohammed is his prophet. Hinduism believes in many naturalistic gods, African and Indian religions believe in pagan gods, and worship hand-made idols, which other religions do as well, Catholicism believes in God, and Jesus, and Mary, and believe that one should devote one’s self fully to the priesthood, for ministry. Atheists do not believe in God, or a god, they are nihilistic, they believe in nothing. Secularists are anti-religious, which many Atheists also espouse.

What is the difference between a true religion, and a false religion, leaving aside all of the world cults, such as Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witness, Christian Science and Scientology? True religion is not Christianity as espoused in the Christian denominations, true religion is caring for the afflicted in their need and keeping one’s self pure in this defiling world. That is all it is, and that is all the Bible claims. The Bible is not a Christian book, it is not a Jewish book, or an Islamic book, or a Mormon book, the Holy Bible is a very special book, it is most unique in its record, it is not creative nor fully logical, but is what it is, truth, wisdom, history, proverbial, teaching, and prophecy.

It tells us of an Apocalypse, which happens to all, which even Jews and Islamists believe. But where did the idea come from of a Messiah returning and an end of the world except from Isaiah and Jesus, his greatest champion of scriptural rebuke, to those who were ignorant of the Bible. It is inconsistent and hypocritical to be anything but a believer in Jesus who holds to the truth of the Bible. To be anti-religious, or religious, but not to practice true religion is hypocritical. To not define what true and false religion is and then to lambast the Bible, as religiously fundamental and fanatical belief, is to never have read or understood the Bible. Are love, hope and faith fanatical?

It may be a cultural belief that people hold, and evident in the movies Hollywood makes, but it’s not true. Fanaticism is zealotry, and Jesus never condoned zealotry, not from Simon the Zealot or from disciple Peter. The wars in the Old Testament were mostly won with trumpets that confused the enemy and they slaughtered each other, while the Israelites advanced, and against warrior peoples, such as the Canaanites, that needed to be killed, but mostly by their own confusion. In the Judge’s and David’s days’ battle was categorically against very hostile and aggressive enemies that would not tolerate Israel being in the land of Canaan.

The Israelites had to defend themselves. David was constantly at war with Israel’s enemies, against the Philistines, attacking Goliath, and king Saul. Also, to those who do not think that Israel had the right to enter the land of Canaan to destroy the Canaanites from the land: the Canaanites were descendants of Ham, one of the three sons of Noah, who had disgraced his father by talking about the nakedness of his father to his two brothers, in the midst of a drunken sleep in his tent. The other two brothers politely took a blanket and backed into the tent and covered their father. After this happened Noah found out what had happened and cursed his son Ham to slavery under his brothers, and blessed the other two, Japheth and Shem (Gen. 9:24-27). There are many misconceptions about the Old Testament, such as the notion that God likes bloody wars. There is also the belief that we can become little gods in the earth, or even harder to handle is the heresy that we are equal to Christ. Being a co-heir with Christ does not mean we are equal to him in his divinity.
